【Red dates soup with ginseng】
Chinese people always like to use natural food or supplements to improve their health. Recently, I got an electric stewpot which can be used conveniently to make these healthy dishes like this Chinese dates and ginseng root soup.
Prepare time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 60 minutes
Yield: 2 servings
1) 6 Chinese dates;
2) 2 small ginseng roots (15g);
3) 3 cups cold water;
4) 2 tbsp honey or sugar (optional);
1: Rinse gingeng roots with water and set asid (Picture 1). Rinse dates with cold water; place three dates and one gingeng root in each of the two small inner pot. Add 1.5 cup cold water to each pot (Picture 2) and cover with th lid.
2: Add cold water to the mark of the stewing container of Electric Stewpot, place two small ceramic pots inside (Picture 3).
3: Cover with the electric stewpot lid (Picture 4). Select the Ginseng and antler progrom and adjust time to 45 minutes. When program finishes, remove the twin small inner pots, add 1 tbsp honey before serving.
