【Braised Pig’s Feet】

This is a dish that ladies should eat frequently. The pig’s feet and skin contain collagen that beautifies you skin. This braised pig’s feet dish goes well with rice.
Prepare time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 50 minutes
Level: Low
Serves: 6 servings
Ingredients:
1) 3 pig’s feet 1200g, cut into small pieces and rinsed;
2) 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 green onion cut to 2-inch in length, 10g fresh ginger sliced, 1 anise star, 2 cloves, 1.5 tbsp anka sauce;
3) 2 tsp dark vinegar, 1.5 tbsp white rock sugar, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy souce, 1tbsp Yummy House soy sauce, 4 tbsp water.
Directions:
1: Place the diced pig’s feet inside InstantPot pressure cooker, and fill with boiling water (Picture 1). Press “Sauté” function on “High”, boil for 2 minutes, drain and rinse off.
2: Select “Saute” function “High”, add 1 tbsp olive oil and sauté green onion, ginger, anise and cloves for 1 minute. Then add anka sauce, and sauté for a minute (Picture 2). Put pig’s feet back into the InstantPot, and sauté for 1-2 minutes (Picture 3). Add all ingredients of Ingredient 3) and mix well (Picture 4). Cover the lid and place the pressure valve to “Seal” position. Press “Manual” button and set 40 minutes of cooking time.
4: Place the braised pig’s feet into to a serving bowl, serve warm with rice. Yummy!!
Order Anka Sauce on Amazon. Keep refrigerated. I didn’t have either, so I substituted Red Soy Paste. Hope it won’t make too big a difference.
