Ingredients:

1) 2 medium size sea bass, you can ask the store to clean it for you and cut head off (a total of 1300g);
2) 1 tbsp. freshly minced garlic, 3 tbsp light soy sauce , 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp sugar, 1/3 tsp ground thirteen spice, ½ tsp sesame oil;
3) ½ cup all purpose flour;
4) 3 tbsp corn oil or other cooking oil.

Directions:

1: Day ahead, clean fish and cut fish into 1.5 cm thick pieces and put into a Zip-Lock bag, add in all ingredients of Ingredient 2). Seal the bag and shake well (Picture 1) and store in a fridge over night. Next morning turn over the bag.
2: Cooking day, use a clean Zip-Lock bag, put in 1/2C flour and add all marinated fish pieces, seal the bag and shake well to coat fish with flour (Picture 2).
3: Plug in the Ropot cooker, press Power button to preheat the cooker.
4: Add 1.5 tbsp oil to the pot, shake off excess flour and put in half fish (Picture 3). Close the lid, press Function to select Panfry function, when 3 seconds count down finishes, press – sign and decrease time 2.5 minutes.

5: When the program ends, open the lid and turn over the fish pieces (Picture 4), close the lid, press Function to select Panfry function, when 3 seconds count down finishes, press – sign and decrease time 2.5 minutes.
6: Repeat step 5 twice to panfry the remaining two sides (Picture 5).
7: Repeat steps 4-6 to finish the other half of the fish. Drain oil on a paper tower before serving.
