【Braised beef in vinegar soy sauce】

I made this braised beef shank in vinegar soy sauce for dinner, it is so tasty. I used GEMSide automatic meal cooker to cook this dish. It has automatic function for cooking, a quite convenient.
Prepare time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 100 minutes
Stand time: 30 minutes
Level: Low
Serves: 8 servings
Ingredients:
1) 1000g beef shank or flank steak;
2) 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 green onion chopped to 2-inch length, 10 g fresh ginger sliced;
3) 1 tbsp dark Chinese vinegar, 2 tbsp sugar, 3 tsp Chinese cooking wine, 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy souce, 1 tbsp premium soy sauce, 1/6 tsp salt, 1.5 cups water.
Directions:
1: Dice into 2x4x2 cm pieces and soak beef in cold water for 30 minutes, rinse and drain. GEMSide automatic meal cooker adjust to high heat using the right side manual button, add 2 tbsp olive oil, sauté chopped green onion and ginger for 30 seconds(Picture 1).
2: Add beef chunks (Picture 2), stir and cook for a few minutes. Add all ingredients of Ingredient 3) (Picture 3), cover with the lid (Picture 4).
3: Press “ASR beef” button to start the cooking program. You may stir the meat a couple of times during the cooking process.
4: When the program is done (Picture 5), about 100 minutes. Open the lid, stir to mix again.
5: Place the cooked meat into a serving bowl, garnish with some finely chopped green onion, serve immediately over rice. Yummy!!
