This is an easy, quick and delicious dish to make. You can serve with some steamed rice.

Ingredients:

1) 20 medium frozen white shrimps;
2) 1 tsp finely chopped green onion, 1/4 tsp freshly minced ginger, 2/3 tsp salt, 1 tsp corn starch, 1/8 tsp ground white pepper, 1 tsp sesame oil;
3) 10 large dried shiitake mushrooms;
4) 2 tsp corn starch;
5) 1 cilantro, washed and finly chopped;
6) 1 tbsp soy sauce paste.

Directions:

1: Ahead of time, soak mushrooms in cold water for a few hours (Picture 1), wash, remove stems. Cook mushrooms in boiling water for 5 minutes, rinse with cold water and squeeze out excess water, set aside (Picture 2).
2: Place shrimps in cold water to thaw, remove shells, rinse, drain well and mince (Picture 3). Combine minced shrimps with all ingredients of Ingredient 2) in a bowl, mix well (Picture 4), set aside for 10 minutes.

3: Scatter very thin layer of corn starch on the back of the mushrooms, spoon 1 tbsp of shrimp filling on top of each mushroom (Picture 5). Place all stuffed mushrooms on a plate.
4: Fill a large steam pot with 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Steam the stuffed mushrooms for 7 minutes on high heat (Picture 7). Remove and set aside.
5: Decorate with chopped cilantro and soy sauce paste before serving.
