【Jumbo shrimp stir fry in soybean sauce】
by MaomaoMom
Since last time MaomaoDad bought a bag of jumbo shrimp at Costco, we now always have a bag of this shrimp in our freeze. I made this quick dish for dinner today. Although it is a bit spicy, but it did not prevent Maomao mooching on them.
Prepare time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Level: Low
Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients:
1) 1 bag frozen deveined jumbo shrimp 680g;
2) 1.5 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp freshly chopped green onion, 1.5 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp spicy soy bean paste, 2 tsp soybean past;
3) 1 tbsp cooking wine, ½ tsp sugar, 1/8 tsp ground white peper, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp premium soy sauce;
4) 1 tsp sesame oil
Directions:
1: Deforst shrimps in cold water, rinse with cold water, drain, pat dry and set aside (Picture 1).
2: Heat 1.5 tbsp olive oil in a non-stick sauté pan over high heat. Sauté chopped green onion and minced garlic (Picture 2) for 1 minute. Add both soy bean paste (Picture 3), stir and cook for 30 seconds.
3: Add shrimps, stir and cook for 1 minutes (Picture 4). Add all ingredients of Ingredient 3) (Picture 5), continue stir and cook for additional 2 minutes until the shrimps just cooked.
4: Add 1 tsp sesame oil (Picture 5), stir to mix. Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately over some steamed rice.
