【Taro puree】
by MaomaoMom
I always have a box of dates handy at home. My family loves dates. I always put in a few of them in the multi-grain congee that I make every day. Dates are high in fiber, low in fat, high in simple carbohydrates, and they don’t contain cholesterol. This Saturaday moring I made this Taro puree with DJ13U-D08SG Soy Machine for breakfast, of course with a few dates in. You got to try this puree recipe, not only for its yummy taste but all health benefits.
Cook time: 25minutes
Level: low
Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients:
1) 360g fresh taro (270g peeled);
2) 1/4 cup sweet rice (50g);
3) 5 large dates;
4) 3.5 cups cold water;
5) 2 tbsp ground almond;
6) Honey or sugar if needed.
Directions:
1: Rinse sweet rice and soak with 1 cup cold water for 2 hours (Picture 1). Sweet rice can be soaked overnigh.
2: I bought dates from Costco (Picture 2). Remove pits of dates and set aside (Picture 3).
3: Peel the taro (Picture 4) and dice. Pour the soaked sweet rice with water into the soy milk machine. Add diced taro (Picture 4), pitted dates, ground almonds and 2.5 cups cold water.
5: When the program is complete, you will hear the beeping sound. Unplug the soy milk machine and slowly open the lid.
6: Carefully pour the puree into four serving bowls. Add 1 tbsp honey or sugar to taste, but honey or sugar is optional if desired.
The core of your writing while appearing reasonable at first, did not really sit perfectly with me after some time. Somewhere within the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer but only for a short while. I still have got a problem with your jumps in assumptions and one would do nicely to fill in those gaps. If you actually can accomplish that, I could certainly be impressed.
I am curious to find out what blog platform you happen to be working with? I’m having some minor security issues with my latest website and I would like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any solutions?
You made a few nice points there. I did a search on the matter and found nearly all folks will agree with your blog.
Valuable info. Lucky me I found your site by accident, and I am shocked why this accident did not happened earlier! I bookmarked it.
