【Yogurt】

All newer models of InstantPot , such as 7-1, 9-1 and 10-1 have Yogurt function, very convenient to make your favored yogurt yourself!
Prepare time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 8-9 hours
Level: low
Serves: 6 servings
Ingredients:
1. 1L 2% milk;
2. 2 tbsp your favored plain yogurt;
3: 2T sugar (optional).
Directions:
1: It is recommended to thoroughly wash container, cups and spoon needed and then rinse with just boiled water.
2: Plug in your InstantPot, add 1L milk to the inner pot (Picture 1), close the lid, valve in close position, press 【Yogurt】key and adjust to more (or High Temp) for boil and start (Picture 2).
3: When program ends (about 10-15 minutes), open the lid and take out the inner pot and place in ¼ cold water filled sink to cool the milk (Picture 3) for about 10 minutes. Remove the “skin” from the surface.
4: Add 2 tbsp your favored plain yogurt (Picture 4) and sugar in the cleaned-bowl, then pour warm mike to the bowl, stir with a spoon to mix well (Picture 5). Divid the milk into 4-5 cups.
5: Add 1 cup water to the inner pot and place its rack inside and place cups filled with milk on the rack (Picture 6). Close the lid and press/select 【Yogurt】key and select normal 8 hours or Med Temp. for 8 hours and start the program.
6: When it is done, take out the yogurt and chill for 3 hours before serving.
I was just searching for this info for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your website. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this type of informative websites in top of the list. Generally the top web sites are full of garbage.
Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
Keep functioning ,impressive job!
Thanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research about this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more from this post. I’m very glad to see such fantastic info being shared freely out there.
