【Pan fried garlic chicken wings】
by MaomaoMom
Chicken wing is one of my favorite foods. I remember during my childhood when meat was scarce, when my grandma and my mom cooked chicken they saved the chicken wings for me. I prepared this tender and tasty pan fried wings for dinner, and we each had quite a few. It is amazing that food can bring back sweet memory.
Prepare time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 8 minutes
Stand time: 24 hours
Level: Easy
Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients:
1) 16 chicken wing mid-sections;
2) 1.5 tbsp freshly minced garlic, 1 small piece fermented chili bean curd;
3)1 tsp premium dark soy sauce, 1.5 tbsp light soy sauce, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp sesame oil.
Directions:
1: Rinse chicken wings under water and pat dry. Place chicken wings and all ingredients of Ingredient 2) and 3) in a Ziploc bag (Picture 1). Seal the bag and turn the bag over a couple of times until the wings are well coated with sauce (Picture 2). Marinate for 24 hours in the fridge. Turn the bag over a few times during this period.
2: Heat a non-stick fry pan over medium-high heat, pat dry wings with paper towel to remove excess sauce (Picture 3). Arrange the wings in the heated non-stick pan (Picture 4). Non-stick pan prevents the wings sticking to the surface. Cook for 3-4 minutes until brown.
