【Pan Fried Flatbread】

Serves: 8 servings
Ingredients:
1) 1.5 cups unsifted all purpose flour (320 g), 1 tsp baking powder;
2) 3/4 cup minus 1 tbsp lukewarm water (145 g), 1/4 tsp sugar, 1 tsp fast rising yeast, 1 tsp all purpose flour, mix and stand for 10 minutes;
3) 1 tsp avacoda oil;
4) 3/4 tsp salt, 1/6 tsp chicken broth mix, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 3 tbsp freshly chopped green onion, 2 tbsp finely chopped black forest ham;
5) 1 tbsp avacoda oil.
Directions:
1: Dough: Combine all ingredients of Ingredient 1) in a medium bowl and mix well (Picture 1 Left). Then pour yeast mixture (Picture 1 Right) into flour, combine to form a dough. The dough can be sticky at the moment. Add 1 tsp oil and knead for a minute to form a smooth dough. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside in a warm place until it doubles in volume.
2: Place the dough on a floured surface and knead gently a few times. Roll the dough into a smooth and round ball. Press down (Picture 3) and roll out into a flatter circle about 20-cm in diameter. Scatter 3/4 tsp salt, 1/6 tsp chicken broth mix and drizzle 1 tbsp sesame oil (Picture 4). Fold the flatter dough a few times to coat evenly.

3: Scatter chopped green onion and ham on top (Picture 5). Cut from center to the side, and roll it to form a cone (Picture 6). Pinch to seal at the end, stand it up and press down to form a disc (Picture 7). Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 5 minutes.
4: Roll out into a 26-cm circle. Place in a non-stick pan coated with 1 tbsp oil electric skillet (Picture 8). Close the lid and let it stand in a warm place for 45 minutes to rise.
5: Plug in the skillet and switch on to preheat the skillet, when preheat is done, select “Breadcake” function to cook the flatbread. When program is done, remove the flatbread and cut into 8 equal portions and serve immediately.
